A magician is only as good as the secret to his fantastical illusions. But in China those mysterious secrets often appear on the web within hours of their being performed on TV.
Liu Qian is a magician from Taiwan who is now famous all over China, and increasingly, the rest of East Asia. His first public appearance in the mainland China was in 2009, during CCTV's annual Spring Festival in front of a live audience and while one billion people watched the televised broadcast. After which he has set off many person on a quest to learn a trick or two.
